Here are a few highlights from our week...
Art
We just completely skipped art this week. Well, sort-of... The kids finally found the new package of play-doh a bought a few weeks ago. They've had lots of fun with that, so I guess that counts towards art time ;)
Bible
We are continuing our studies on Islam and Muslims. It baffles me how so many people could be mislead so easily by one man. No signs, no wonders, no miracles as Jesus had done. No corroborating stories of multiple people backing up what Jesus said to be true. Nope, just one man and his "vision". That is pretty scary :/
History
History ties in with what the kids are learning about in the Bible portion of our school day- the Arab world, the barbarians, and the Islamic invasion.

We watched a few videos.
Here is one about the Barbarians and a funny one about them as well. Here is a video about Clovis, the king of the Franks, and here is a video about the conquest of Spain.
Science
Science
This week, the focus was on the heart. We added the heart cut-out to our models, watched a video about the circulatory system, and started working on putting together a small-scale model of the heart.
